Grand Syndicates is a horse racing syndication business catering specifically for people who want to own a share in a racehorse-but don't want to spend a Kings Ransom to do it.
Standard five per cent shares in our syndicates start from $1,100 each inc gst. In 2015 we introduced 'Double Grand' shares priced at $2,200 each which allowed us to open up our buying scope at yearling sales, and it's fair to say that as of 2018 onward, although many of our syndicates are still $1,100 per share, the 'Double Grand' offerings are now the norm'. Working together with our trusted trainers and bloodstock agents, we do all the hard work for you as we spend long hours combing the catalogues and inspecting hundreds of yearlings so that we can bring you value priced horses without you having to spend the Earth to get into them. We offer syndicate shares in Victoria, News South Wales, Queensland and South Australia which should appeal to the budget savvy racehorse owner.
The syndicate fees on a 5% share in a Grand Syndicate are $200.75 per month per share (which works out to be exactly $6.60/day) which, with the exception of the possibility of feature race payments and associated transport, and the rare situation where a horse is in work for extended periods of time (meaning it keeps winning), means that you know exactly what you're up for.
NEW in 2018 - Introducing 'Grand Platinum'!
To cater for those who want to spend more on their syndicate shares, and to allow us to compete at a higher level, we’re very excited to introduce our next level of business - Grand Platinum!
Grand Platinum shares will be basically anything above our ‘grand a share’ and ‘double grand’ offerings.
A good example of that is our purchase at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in February of the filly (pictured) by the Cox Plate winner Shamus Award from It’s You, which we bought for $65,000.
She’s a classic type of filly, one that we’ll look to aim for the better quality mile plus races as a three year old and older horse, in particular races such as the AJC Oaks etc. Shares in her are $5,150, (5% share) a price that includes insurance, breaking in, agistment and all other costs right up to June 30th, in addition to inclusion in the $8,000,000 Inglis race series and the ever popular BOBS bonus race series too-both of which means more potential prizemoney for YOU!.
Grand Platinum will allow those who wish to invest with us at a slightly higher level to do so.
*The parent company of Grand Syndicates is Belhus Racing Stables which is privately owned by Peter & Karen Morley who have been successfully syndicating racehorses in Australia since 1995.
